diy: paper towel roll flower wall art/deco

I found this inspiration on pinterest for a paper towel wall art.  I am going to make one as soon as we finish a roll of paper towels.  (Shouldn't be to long!)  I really loved this one, but I don't want it to be exactly the same.  Maybe painting it?
